How was everyone's weekend? Hope it was nice and relaxing ;)

Anyway, this post is a follow up to last week's beauty blog on lip care. Since I walked through some daily home remedies to a smooth looking kissable lip ~ I thought I'd post some product recommendations of the 3 preferred lip balm in my book :D

So here goes ..

At #3

"Give your lips the soothing feeling they deserve. This natural lip balm is loaded with coconut and sunflower oils, rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, to nourish, condition and soften lips. Beeswax seals in hydration. We've even added peppermint oil for a refreshing tingle. Take your pick of an old-fashioned yellow tin or a recycled plastic tube. No wonder it is our most popular product"

A lip balm I've been using for many years now. & honestly I never leave my house without it! Great for prepping before lipstick application as well. Gets ur lips nice and moist and is especially good if you have serious chapped or cracked lips ~ What I love about it is that even tho its moist enough it's not sticky. The lip balm gets absorbed very quickly :)

At number 1, is not exactly a lip balm. But it works wonders! Esp when used as a homemade lip mask.

"Vaseline Petroleum Jelly is a mixture of mineral oils, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes that, when blended together, create something remarkable - a smooth jelly that has a melting point just above body temperature. The result - it literally melts into skin, flowing into the spaces between cells and the gaps in our lipid barrier. Once there, it re-solidifies, locking itself in place"

It creates a barrier for your skin and protects it from the pollution on the outside whilst at the same time maintains the moisture within.

The Lip Mask: Apply a suitable amount of vaseline on your lips, and cut a small piece of saran wrap and place it on your lips. Then place a heated towel on top. & sit for 10 - 15 mins.

This homemade lip mask works great. & is especially good during the winter.

Hope this helped ;)
Until next week
